Size #8 is our most popular size Short Striker and the IDEAL CHOICE for most fishing conditions. Definitely the PERFECT CHOICE when fished with 4lb to 6lb test, light / ultra light spincasting for Brook, Rainbow, Brown and the BIG Browns!



Size #10 is approximatley 30% smaller in physical size. Combined with an ultra-light rig at 2 to 4lb test, the size 10 is particularly suited for ultra light fishing in SMALLER STREAMS where the water is clear and a more delicate, less intrusive presentation is desireable. The Short-Striker in Size 10 is absolutely the" "lure of choice" for Native / Wild Trout ie: clear water such as the Provo or the Green River. The size 10 is also extremely effective when when fly casting as a streamer.
